This policy explains what Fence Quote Builder collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers our website, web app, and mobile apps (together, the "Service").

Information we collect
Account information
When you or your organization create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. Accounts are managed and secured through our authentication provider.
Content you create
The Service stores the quotes, pricing, material lists, and contracts you build. To produce a quote or contract, you may enter information about your own customers, such as their name, job-site address, phone number, and email. You are responsible for this customer information and confirm you have the right to provide it to us for processing on your behalf.
Photos you upload
The Fence Visualizer feature lets you take or select a photo of a yard so the Service can generate a preview of the finished fence. When you use it, we access your camera or photo library only for the photo you choose, upload that photo to process it, and may save generated images to your organization's gallery. We do not access your camera or photos in the background or for any other purpose.
Your device's location
The map measuring feature can use your device's location, with your permission, to center the map on the job site you are standing at. Your coordinates are used only for that moment of map positioning and are not stored. You can decline the permission and use the map by searching for an address instead.
Payment information
If your organization pays for a subscription, payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number; we retain only limited billing details such as plan and status.
Usage and device information
We collect standard technical information such as log data, app version, device type, and error reports to keep the Service reliable and to diagnose problems.
How we use information
- To provide the Service: build and store quotes, generate contracts, and visualize fences.
- To process the photos, price sheets, and text you submit to AI features (see below).
- To manage accounts, subscriptions, and billing.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To communicate with you about the Service, including support and important notices.
AI processing
Some features send your content to third-party AI providers to work:
- Fence Visualizer sends the yard photo you choose to an AI model to generate the preview image.
- Price sheet import sends supplier price sheets you upload to an AI model to read and map the prices.
- In-app assistance may send the text of your request to an AI model to generate a response.
We send only what a feature needs to function. Our AI providers process this content to return a result to you and under their agreements with us do not use it to train their general models.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed to provide it:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case we will notify you.
Data retention
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active, and as needed to provide the Service and meet legal or accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated content (see Your rights).
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and per-organization data separation to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email hello@fencequotebuilder.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
If you enter your customers' information into the Service, you are responsible for handling their rights requests; we will help you access, correct, or delete that information on request.
International users
We operate in the United States and our providers may process data there and in other countries. By using the Service you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the Service.
