Fence Quote Builder is billed monthly, in United States dollars (USD), with no contract and no minimum term. You can cancel at any time.
How to cancel
Email hello@fencequotebuilder.com from the address on your account and tell us you would like to cancel. We will confirm by email, usually the same business day and always within two business days.
If your subscription was set up with a payment link that includes a customer portal, you can also cancel there directly.
No notice period is required. A cancellation received on the last day of a billing period is treated the same as one received on the first.
What happens when you cancel
- Your access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. If you cancel on the 3rd and your month runs to the 20th, you keep full access until the 20th.
- You are not charged again. The subscription does not renew at the end of that period.
- We do not refund the remainder of the month. See below.
- After the paid period ends, your team can no longer sign in, and the account moves to a closed state.
Refunds
We do not issue partial or pro-rated refunds for the month in progress. When you cancel, you keep the service you have already paid for until that period ends, rather than receiving money back for the unused days.
We do make things right when the fault is ours. Contact us and we will refund in full if:
- you were charged after cancelling;
- you were charged twice for the same period, or charged on the wrong plan;
- the Service was substantially unavailable for an extended period during a month you paid for.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within five to ten business days, depending on your bank.
Changing plans
You can move up or down a plan at any time by emailing us. An upgrade takes effect immediately and is billed from that point; a downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing period, so you keep the higher plan for the month you have already paid for.
Downgrading to a plan with fewer user seats requires you to be within that plan's seat limit first. Plans and their seat limits are listed on the pricing section of our website.
Free trials
If we offer you a trial, we will tell you in writing how long it runs and what happens at the end of it. A trial does not convert into a paid subscription unless you have given us payment details and agreed to that in advance. If it is set to convert, you may cancel at any time before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
Your data after cancellation
Ask us before your paid period ends and we will export your quotes, contracts, and customer records and send them to you. We keep account data for a limited period after closure so an account can be reopened if you change your mind, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time — see our Privacy Policy and the account deletion page.
If we end an account
We may suspend or close an account for non-payment or for a breach of our Terms of Service. Where we close an account for non-payment, you can settle the outstanding amount and ask us to reopen it. Where we close an account for any reason other than a breach by you, we will refund the unused portion of the current period.
